Once the Managing Director of a successful engineering business, and having sat on the Board of two further companies as a non-executive Director. How it works

Your business may just grow organically. More often than not, it needs expert input to grow.

It may be the case that you have sound foundations already in place. You may just need a bit of regular help to ensure that your website is doing its job - by being well-written and properly optimised for Google - so that you are scoring well in Google searches and being visible to your target customers.

That's what I do. I start by conducting a mini-audit of where you are at, and we discuss how you want the business to develop. I suggest a strategy for sustainable growth, and you decide how much help you need to deliver it. I can suggest what other commercial infrastructure you might need, such as employees, premises or industry accreditations (such as ISO9001).

Additionally, you may need help with the governance of the company. Perhaps the experience and expertise that a non-executive director can bring to your organisation is exactly what is required.
